Yahoo! is continuing to alter its digital strategy as it struggles to survive in the face of heightened competition. The search company recently announced the release of Yahoo! Screen, a streaming service that will replace its current video platform while also expanding available services. According to the company’s blog, Yahoo! Screen will introduce crucial partnerships with content creators.
According to Yahoo!, Screen will come packed with premium content from providers such as “Hulu, CBS, Howcast, Turner Sports, UFC, Revision3, and more than 70 [others]” thanks to strategic partnerships. Screen will also include access to Yahoo!’s exclusive original content, which includes eight new programs.
