Yahoo Site Explorer Explores OblivionYahoo! has announced that the company will be shutting down Site Explorer today. The failing search giant is requesting that customers switch to Bing Webmaster Tools so that users can “ensure that their websites continue to get high quality organic search traffic.” While Bing’s tool set does have many of the features that were available in Yahoo! Site Explorer, Bing lacks the back-link data which was used for competitive research by some SEO services experts. (more…)
